GOMBAK, 14 April 2016: The Kulliyyah of Languages and Management Students’ Society (KLMSS) yesterday launched their KLM Media Week at KICT cafeteria in collaboration with Journalism Club and PEMBINA Club.
The three-day event from 13 until 15 April 2016 was organised with an objective to promote the Kulliyyah of Languages and Management (KLM) more extensively to IIUM students.
“We want to promote KLM to IIUM students through social media because not all of them know of our existence. And the collaboration with Journalism Club and PEMBINA Club would help make the programme more colourful to reach our target audience,” Programme Manager, Ainil Izyan Nazri explained.
The event was also intended to launch the KLMSS website. “This is the third tenure of KLMSS and we think that we need the website so that the students will acknowledge the mainboard.”
She said the event was also organised to generate income for the society to help students in need.
“Our appreciation goes to Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka (DBP), Wowkawkaw and Imtiaz Digital for being the main sponsors for our event after the hardships we have gone through to make this event a success,” she added.
A number of activities were being organised for the Media Week such as the selling booths, media competition, and exhibition booths that feature KLM Media Week, Journalism Club and PEMBINA Club.
On the last day (15 April), there will be a forum entitled “Media is More Dangerous Than Terrorists” as part of their main activity.***
