KOTA DAMANSARA, 1 April 2016: For those who have always been interested in showcasing their written stories or poems for people to read, but have had a hard time finding a platform to send your materials to, well, worry no longer.
œClairvoyance is IIUMs literary magazine that publishes literary works as a platform for students all over the campus to have their writings published, shared the Editor in Chief of Clairvoyance, Fathin Addine.
Yes, this magazine that will be distributed during the next BENL Writing Festival at HS Square has the primary objective of getting IIUM students – whichever kulliyah they might be from – involved in sharing any written piece that they would so willingly craft.
Fathin shared her resolution by saying that, œBeautiful forms of creative writing is meant to be read by everyone, and we want to encourage people to do exactly that.
Clairvoyance will begin accepting written materials from IIUM students during the study period near the end of this current semester.
Those who are interested in getting their works published would only have to email their piece to Clairvoyance. The editors will then do some read up on it, and from there, the materials that pass the mark will be compiled and printed out as part of the contents of the magazine.
The contents of Clairvoyance will feature poems, short stories, and even a column section where students and writers are able to share their fascinating experiences of life which they’ve gone through for people to read and relate.
As of now, Clairvoyance is still looking for students who want to directly join as a member of the Clairvoyance crew, either as part of the editorial team, design team, or finance team. They will be opening their doors to students until the 10 April.
Those who are interested in joining could simply give a call to Fathin (013-440 3570) or her assistant editor, Ashiqin (0126801407). For more information, do stop by at Clairvoyances twitter handle, @clairvoyanceiiu.***
