GOMBAK, 19 December 2014: Newly elected HS representative to the SRC 2014/2015, Aida Liyana, spoke about her election manifesto in an IIUM.fm interview conducted by DJ Fauzan and DJ Faizul in IIUM.fm recently.
During the one-hour interview, Aida explained what she really wanted to do for the students. She mentioned about her intention to help with sister security and welfare. For example, to work on the shortcut way for HS students using the passageway by the river and sister’s mahallah. Because many sisters were using the short cut way at night, especially to attend classes or discussions at HS building, there is the need to ensure that the passage is clean and bright at night.
In her manifesto she also mentioned her intention to promote internationalisation among the student community and the most interesting thing is to build one stop centre at HS Square. This would provide opportunities for students to interact with their notes, books and pre-registration manual form.
A third year political science student, Aida Liyana had wished that she could one day be an ambassador or a political speaker for Malaysia. Hope Allah will ease her job and guide her in managing the affairs in the Human Sciences building.***
