GOMBAK, 17 September 2014: Visitors to KaedFest 2014 have the opportunity to learn more about the Kulliyyah of Architecture and Environmental Design when they visit BUKA, an exhibition that features various departments under the said Kulliyyah, namely, Architecture, Applied Arts and Design, Landscape Architecture, Quantity Surveying and Urban, and Regional Planning.

Every department in the Kulliyyah is given a space in this exhibition to display the uniqueness of their specialised field. BUKA is a concept where visitors are welcome to expose themselves to the world of KAED. The exhibition is intended to showcase the different departments under the Kulliyyah so that students intending to join the Kulliyyah would be able to make the right choice.

Siti Norsyazwani one of the volunteers for this slot says,  “I am happy that we are able to show the uniqueness of our departments. Often people overgeneralise that our Kulliyyah is just limited to designing buildings but actually KAED is a vast field.”

Mohammad Faiz, a visitor of BUKA was attracted to the exhibition. He said,  “As an engineering student, I have appreciation for arts as well. This is the time where I can see what KAED students did for their studies and I really envy me seeing them going overseas as a part of their studies.”
