Brew & Blossom Café Blooms at Gombak Food Festival 2.0: A Two-day Brewtiful Experience

If you visited the Gombak Food Festival 2.0 on 3 to 4 June 2025, you may have noticed a booth that was decorated with pink and green tones and the sweet aroma of freshly brewed coffee. That beautiful booth belonged to Brew & Blossom Café which is a business run by IIUM students that is quickly becoming one of IIUM Gombak’s favorite spots for handcrafted drinks and cozy vibes. 

As the sweet aroma of coffee floated through the air, students and visitors gathered around the booth, not just for the drinks but also for the experience. Brew & Blossom Cafe stood out with its charming flower cart and friendly team, the booth also created a cozy corner where people could grab a drink, snap a photo and share a smile with others. It wasn’t just about coffee but it was about connection, creativity and community spirit. 

A Story Brewed with Purpose 

Founded in September 2024 by a passionate IIUM student, known as Br. Amier, Brew & Blossom Café was built on the idea of combining great coffee with meaningful community space. As the owner and founder, Br. Amier saw the chance to bring freshly made drinks with a relaxing and friendly space for the students on campus. 

The name “Brew & Blossom” carries a deep meaning that reflects their brand, where “Brew” represents their love of handcrafted drinks, while “Blossom” symbolizes personal growth and strong community ties. This thoughtful name also reflects their beautiful floral-themed branding, which makes their booth outstanding wherever they go. 

What sets Brew & Blossom apart is not just their drinks but it is their mission. This café was built to be more than just to grab a latte, it is a student space where they meet their friends, rest their minds and where all their creativity flows. From its funky background to its Instagrammable cups, every detail is thoughtfully designed for the IIUM crowd. 

Why Everyone Fell in Love with Brew & Blossom 

During the two-day festival, Brew & Blossom Café captivated visitors’ attention with its vibrant flower cart and welcoming team. Although their booth setup was simple, the fresh flowers and warm interactions created a cheerful and inviting vibe. As it was their first time participating in the Gombak Food Festival, they still managed to leave a lasting impression on many customers. 

To make the experience more exciting, Brew & Blossom Café introduced a fun and engaging promotion on both days of the festival. They offered a RM2 off discount on any drinks to anyone whose name appeared on their special list and the best part is the spelling did not matter, as long as the pronunciation matched! This creative and inclusive promo got many students excited to check their name on the list to claim the discount. It was a unique way to interact with customers and create a cheerful environment around the booth, showing that Brew & Blossom knows how to make every customer feel special. 

The café is known for its signature handcrafted drinks, especially their best sellers like the rich brew latte and refreshing matcha latte. These drinks are not only delicious but also beautifully served in cups made for the perfect Instagram shot. More than that, visitors did not just leave with drinks but they left with memories.
