GOMBAK, 6 December 2022: œWe believe that you are ready to take up the challenges of serving your respective communities, said the Ambassador of the State of Libya and a member of the IIUM Board of Governors, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed As-Sadiq Masaud Attia at the fourth session of the 38th IIUM Convocation Ceremony.
He also said that IIUM was established to provide education that comprises of Islamic teaching and a career for the youths of the Muslim world.
Therefore, he has confidence in the IIUM graduands as they have the qualifications to withstand challenges and guide communities.
œIn this world, culture is the mind preference of the youth and we must be creative to fully use what Islam has to offer, he said.
He congratulated the graduands for reaching another milestone and maintaining their values despite facing many others difficulties.
œI hope that your life revolves not only in academic success but also in human relations, he emphasised.
HE Mr. Mohamed As-Sadiq advised graduands in his concluding remark to read more even after they complete their studies, to be confident, and also to be patient.***
