IIUM’s 37th Convo: 632 AHAS KIRKHS graduates celebrated at the 10th session

GOMBAK, 17 August 2022: 632 graduates of AbdulHamid AbuSulayman Kulliyyah of Islamic Revealed Knowledge and Human Sciences (AHAS KIRKHS) received their scrolls during the 10th session of IIUM’s 37th Convocation Ceremony this evening.

IIUM Rector, Prof. Emeritus Tan Sri Dzulkifli Abdul Razak, in his speech reminded the graduates to uphold the values of perseverance, patience, courage, and humility to accompany their future journey.

He added that the perfect recipe for success is to change oneself before changing the world as understanding the guiding path would make it easier to bring along changes to others.

“Keeping silence is not an option, as university students and graduates must be part of public intellectual that educates and gives new information,” he said. 

The Rector also emphasised the graduates to carry out their responsibility in offering advices and curating right narratives on the functions of religion in improving life and fulfilling the spiritual needs of mankind. 

At the end of his speech, he expressed his acknowledgments towards parents’ unconditional support and his congratulatory remarks to the graduates for their accomplishments and contributions to the university. 

The recipients of the Kulliyyah Level awards for the 10th session are as follows:

  • Best Student (Overall): Muhammad ‘Afif Jazli bin Samion
  • Best Student (Academic): Abdul Hakim bin Suhaimi
  • Best Student (Co-Curricular): Muhammad Zulhilmi bin Muhammad.***
