GOMBAK, 9 November 2021: A survey by CareerBuilder, a recruitment website, found that almost 75 per cent recruiters have suggested that Emotional Quotient (EQ) skills are more valued than their Intelligence Quotient (IQ) skills.
To help interns familiarise with their EQs and how they can apply them to create professional relationships in the workplace, the Practical Training Class (COMM 4995) Section 2 will be hosting a webinar titled “EQ at Work: Managing Professional Relationships.”
The webinar will invite Mr. Koh Mui Han, an EQ expert and principal consultant at Change Dynamics to share his thoughts and knowledge.
Students will not only get to acquaint themselves with workplace relationship ethics, but will also be given the chance to have a session with a renowned expert in the industry.
This event will be held on Thursday (11 November) at 8.30 p.m. via Zoom Meetings. All third and fourth year Communication students are encouraged to attend as a preparation for their internship.
