Launching of KENT, e­-Tijari to encourage entrepreneurship activities

GOMBAK, 1 March 2021: With the launching of the Kulliyyah of Islamic Revealed Knowledge and Human Sciences Entrepreneurship Committee (KENT), academics and students will be able to learn the ropes of entrepreneurship activities under the umbrella of the kulliyyah.

KENT was established for lecturers to coach students to become good entrepreneurs, especially digital entrepreneurs, to be ready to activate economic activities even while still studying or after they have graduated,” the Dean of KIRKHS, Prof. Dr. Shukran Abd Rahman said.

The event which was a collaboration with the KIRKHS Get Together, also witnessed the launching of the bulletin e-Tijari, a knowledge-sharing product published by KENT.

The Dean said: “We have started working on entrepreneurship activities since last year and there are many good achievements and very good success stories that will feature or have been featured in their bulletin.”

Among the activities by KENT

Prof. Dr. Shukran also called on academics and students of the kulliyyah to benefit from KENT as participants will be equipped with necessary training to become entrepreneurs.

The live session of the launching was held via Zoom application this morning and live-streamed on YouTube with over 200 participants.***
