GOMBAK, 10 November 2020: Malaysia is still soaring within 3 digit cases of COVID-19 bringing a total of 869 new cases as of noon today.
Health Director-General, Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said the majority of cases were reported in Sabah (397), followed by Selangor (236) and Negeri Sembilan (141) at the daily COVID-19 press conference by the Ministry of Health (MOH).
He said: “In total, Malaysia’s tally of infections went up to 42,050 cases since January 2020.”
Additionally, he said that of the new cases, only one case were imported.
Furthermore, the country’s Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) reported six deaths, bringing the nationwide death toll to 300.
Bringing light to the case, 725 patients have recovered from COVID-19 and discharged from hospitals bringing the total recoveries to 30,304 patients.
To date, Malaysia has reported a cummulative of 11,446 active cases with 82 patients in the intensive care unit (ICU) and 27 requiring ventilator support.***
