GOMBAK, 14 April 2020: Students who are on a lock down in campus will have an opportunity to listen to an advice on managing stress and anxiety during the extended Movement Control Order (MCO) effective tomorrow until 28 April.
Organised by IIUMToday, IIUMtv and IIUM.fm in collaboration with Counselling and Career Services (CCSC) IIUM, a webinar on the topic will be held on Wednesday (15 April).
The focus of this programme will be a discussion on how an individual’s mental health could have been negatively affected during the MCO and what they could do to overcome the problems. Students who are still staying at the university campus might be facing problems with stress and anxiety.
The programme will provide tips on how to manage and counter those negative emotions arising from long term isolation indoors, as well as an online meditation for students at the end of the session.
The discussion will be moderated by IIUM political science student, Sofia Tjatradiningrat and the speaker is Khairiah Binti Abdul Razak from CCSC IIUM.
This webinar can be streamed on IIUM TV’s YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCR1z8w2LogG56BBfHIJwXRQ) from 3 pm to 4 pm.***
