Take a break and cheer up your weekends!

Being a student requires you to study 24 hours seven days a week. Have you ever felt so tired, feeling like giving up with all the assignments, group discussion and deadline to chase? All those commitments can make you have less time for yourself or even to hang out with friends and family.

Instead of sitting all day by yourself studying on weekends, take a break and enjoy your day on weekends either alone or with friends. Here are five things you can do:

Food Hunting

Are you a food lover? Loves eating good food? Does eating give you a good mood? This is one thing that you can do on weekends. By food hunting, you can try food that you are not familiar with. If you are new here, you should try the speciality food here or even you can try food that went viral to know whether it’s worth to be viral or not. Love taking food photos? Don’t worry, there are many restaurants and cafes that have unique layout of their shop. These shops often serve unique looking food and even the platting is pretty.

Movie Night

It’s the weekends! You are tired with all the assignments and revisions, wanting to spend time on something fun. Say no more because you should organise movie night with your friends. Whether it is at the cinema or at your hostel, movie night is a must. By choosing your movie wisely, it will be a splendid moving night. Some tips to make your movie night more fun:

  • Prepare/ buy snacks

The smell of popcorns at the cinema is making you salivating! Enjoy your movie with a bucket full of popcorn and soda at side. If you are having your movie night at your hostel, chips and chocolate milk would be as good as popcorns.

  • Silence your phone

What is the meaning of movie night with your friends if you keep playing with your phone? Silence your phone or even put on Do Not Disturb mode to avoid you from missing those good scenes.

Play Sports

Playing sports with friends can bring fun because it will not only strengthen your relationship with them but also you can make your life healthy. Sometimes, give some sweats to your body can make you to be more productive. If you’re going to do it alone, you can even tune in to your favourite songs while exercising.

Board Games

Instead of playing games on your gadget, why don’t you throwback to your childhood where all the games are the classic board games like Monopoly, Jenga and many more. Not only kids who enjoy these type of games but elders too. Playing board games can improve your relationship with your friends by having real communication with them.

Trip to Nature Park

Do you live near Kuala Lumpur? You can visit to Eco Rimba Park where the entrance is free to enjoy a breath-taking view of trees in the middle of the busy town. By breathing fresh air, it will reduce your stress at once can make you feel calm and energetic. If you have interests in photography, you can improve your skills by taking pictures of the view. You can also take a lot of ootd’s here at Eco Rimba Park because the place is so beautiful.

As a student, it is not good for you to study all the time, try to learn on how to love yourself by enjoying the weekends. You will think that you will have less time to study, but if you have experienced good weekends, you will have plenty of time. ***
