GOMBAK, 12 October 2017: It’s polling day today. And it’s your duty to elect your representatives to represent your voice in the Students’ Representative Council (SRC) for 2017/2018 session.
Polling stations are open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and they are located at every Kulliyyah. It is time for students to do their parts after two days of election campaign by the candidates.
All undergraduates are therefore encouraged to cast their votes as it is a responsibility that needs to be fulfilled by the students, according to the announcement by the Election Commission. To ensure that the students are eligible to vote, they have to bring along the Matric cards during the voting.
The election process is a platform for the students to practice their democratic rights to choose their representatives who will voice out relevant issues on their behalf.***
