GOMBAK, 28 July 2017 – Palestinian Muslims are fighting for their right to have peaceful access to Jurusalem’s Al-Aqsa Mosque. In support of the solidarity stand with the Al-Aqsa Mosque, Students’ Representative Council (SRC) will be having rallies which are expected to begin after Friday prayer today.

“The idea of holding rallies is initiated by the Palestine Students Association in collaboration with the SRC to show support and solidarity with the Al-Aqsa,” said Maizatul Farahain Rosli, who is the SRC’s Executive Council Member for Social Responsibility and Entrepreneurship.

Maizatul added: “Hopefully all students can come to show their solidarity with the Al-Aqsa Mosque in front of the Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah (SHAS) Mosque square and library. The event will last for about 40 minutes.”

The main objective of holding a rally is to foster the spirit of cooperation and to create awareness among Muslims out there on issues that Muslim brothers and sisters are facing in Palestine.***
