GOMBAK, 23 February 2017: World Association of Muslim Youth (WAMY) is conducting a day trip for new intakes, worth RM 35 to Putrajaya and Taman Tasik Perdana on Saturday, 25 February 2017.

The students are required to gather at the main entrance of the university around 7am along with the main board of WAMY. From there the students will be taken to the specified destinations via buses.

The first location, which is Taman Tasik includes exclusive tourist spots like the bird park, butterfly park and gardens where the students can take pleasure in cycling.

Upon reaching the destination, the students will be provided with breakfast prepared by the committee members. As the day passes, lunch will be served to the students as well. As Malaysia has a tropical weather throughout the year, it is preferable to visit the gardens before the sun attains its apex.

Students will be taken to Putrajaya around the afternoon time, where they can visit the exquisite architectural mosques. After spending recreational time, the committee members will entertain the students by indulging them in games and giving them tasks. A motivational talk session will be conducted to incite positivity among the students.

Around 8pm, the students will be allocated back to the buses, which then will be directed to the university. During the return trip the students will have their leisure time and spend some quality time with their friends.

This trip will allow students to explore new destinations and get acquainted with their batch mates and seniors.

“I hope this trip turns out to be successful, just like the previous years and everyone is able to have a good time,” says Abdulrehman Imad, representative of WAMY, IIUM.***
