Last week, I had a chance to interview a young entrepreneur who has successfully been building his name at a very young age.
The founder of Wowkawkaw, Mohd Naem bin Zaidi or known only Aaron, 24, started his business two years ago when he got an injury in rugby tournament and cant walk for six months. That was the time he started to think out of the box to build a business that most of the young people are afraid to take a risk in their life.
Starting his business in IIUM Student Mall, Aaron and his team has made a good strategy in expanding their brand name where today, people are getting more familiar with their brand.
After I have interviewed him, I can see how different the way he thinks where he always have a positive mind and always keep the sprit to become a successful person. Not only that, I also respect him whereby he is making religion as a number one where he required all of his workers to take care of their aurah and to pray even though they are busy entertaining their customers. Apart from that, Aaron also said that ethics and attitude are very important values that he wants his workers to have so that they can work as a team to expanding their business together.
Apart from that, Aaron is also active in giving talk to encourage more young people to join the business and he also teaches them on how to handle the business as he doesnt mind at all in sharing his knowledge and experiences as a young entrepreneur. Taking successful persons such as Abdul Basid and Gary Vaynerchuck as his business idol, he also wants to unleash the wow factors on young people who are passionately interested to do a business.
He also added that in order to succeed “we need to W.I.N where we need to work hard, increase our knowledge and also never give up”. This is how the young entrepreneur act to succeed in business.
Other than that, he also stressed out that entrepreneurship is not a job. It is a lifestyle where we chose to be an entrepreneur, we actually choose our lifestyle already. Hence, we should work harder and never complain anything that we do and always have a spirit in our mind to improve ourselves so that we succeed in the world and also the hereafter.
Hearing inspiring stories like these can give us a positive mind set and inspire us to work and study harder for a better future. This is how the power of a young entrepreneur can influence our life . In fact, we also need more young people to join the business and encourage one another. Entrepreneurs should therefore be brave in taking the risk where one day “we will be satisfied and thankful on the step that we have taken to succeed”. ***
