CHALK 2.0 by IPRMSA to feature stakeholders’ management

GOMBAK, 10 November 2016: The Institute of Public Relations Malaysia Student’s Association (IPRMSA) IIUM Chapter is bringing CHALK 2.0 to IIUM this Friday (11 November) at Mini Audi from 2p.m till 4.30p.m.

CHALK 2.0 (the acronym which stands for Chat, Listen and gain Knowledge) will focus on “Stakeholders Management”. Managing relationship with stakeholders is a challenging task but considered an important aspect of Public Relations in most organisations.

The event would provide an opportunity for future practitioners in the field to learn how to engage stakeholders through interactive intellectual discourse with the speakers from the industry who have been invited to share their experience.

This time IPRMSA has invited Dato’ Najmuddin Abdullah, Director of Strategic Communications & Stakeholder Relations at MRT Corporation, and Adelina Iskandar, a Senior Public Relations Consultant at World Communications Network Resources.

Dato’ Najmuddin will share his experience in dealing with stakeholders during crises situation based on his experience as a former Public Relations Manager for Malaysia Airlines in handling MH370 incident.

The entry to this half-day event by IPRMSA is free for everyone who wants to attend where attendees will have a chance to participate in this discourse.

The last CHALK 1.0 was held in 2015 which managed to draw a good number of participants to interact with prominent speakers from the industry.***
