GOMBAK, 19 October 2016: MISI Club IIUM in collaboration with PERSADA of University Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) will organise a programme called  “Outreach To Kampung Sungai Riset Series 2″ to be held in Padawan Kuching, Sarawak, from 22 until 28 October to create social awareness among the villagers.

The programme will involve 20 students from IIUM and five students from UNIMAS.

Programme Manager, Mohd Norazam, said, œWe went there before, but this time we want to focus on their religious knowledge so that they will be able to practise it in their daily life. In addition, we also want to improve the villages infrastructure by providing alternative street lamp.”

“Last but not least, we also want to encourage them to frequently go to the mosque, said Mohd Norazam.

There will also be activities with other students and committees like painting job, fixing the infrastructure that they already have, and to add some stuff that they can afford to give, according to Mohd Norazam.

œAs Programme Manager, I hope this programme will go on smoothly, and will create an awareness regarding the need to help others and to guide them to the right path, added Mohd Norazam, who is a second year student from Kuliyyah of Information and Communication Technology.***
