GOMBAK, 11 October 2016: In conjunction with Cekak Hanafi Festival 2016 together with celebration of 21st year’s establishment of Silat Cekak Hanafi (SCH) club at IIUM Gombak, there will be the first massive silat demonstration organised by SCH, IIUM that involves 210 martial art practitioners from other universities and schools across the country.
This demonstration will be held on Saturday, 15 October, at Sayyidinna Hamzah Stadium, IIUM Gombak. This event will be graced by the performances from Seni Silat Gayong IIUM club. Not just that, there will be a poem declamation and special pantun performance by the winners of inter-Mahallah Culture Week, Faznurqizam Zaidan and Firdaus Yusni.
The event will start at 7.30 a.m and all students are invited to attend.
