GOMBAK, 19 September 2016: Nominations of candidates for election to the 2016/2017 Students’ Representative Council has been announced at 6 p.m today at CAC Conference Room.
The election campaign has been set for two days starting tomorrow until the Polling Day this Thursday (22 September).
Three kuliyyahs have won uncontested; they are Ahmad Ibrahim Kuliyyah of Law (AIKOL), Kuliyyah of Education (KOED) and Kuliyyah of Economics and Management Sciences (KENMS).

According to the previous SRC President, Muhammad Aiman Azahan, the election process for this year has been running smoothly.
“I am quite shocked because usually we have a stiff competition between AIKOL and KENMS. But this year, there have been candidates who won uncontested,” said Muhammad Aiman.
Expressing his heartfelt satisfaction for the candidates of the coming SRC, he hoped the election process will run smoothly and a new SRC line up will be formed to continue the legacy to serve the IIUM community.***
