The challenge, however, is that IS has romanticised itself as being more an endeavour to martyrdom than just a violent militant organisation. More dangerous is the fact that it has been using its own interpretation of Islamic teachings as the foundation of its struggle to supposedly establish an Islamic caliphate. As Islam is currently the worlds most rapidly expanding religion, it also means for IS, it can source for new recruits from expanding pools anywhere in the world.
