GOMBAK, 14 September 2015: Four kulliyyahs won uncontested in 8 of the 23 seats in the IIUM Students Representative Council election when nominations closed on Saturday, 12 September 2015.
The victory is in each of the two chairs in the Engineering Constituency, Kulliyyah of Architecture and Environmental Design (KAED) Constituency, Islamic Revealed Knowledge (IRK) Constituency and the Kulliyyah of Information and Communication Technology (KICT).
The following candidates won in their respective constituencies:
KICT Constituency
- Muhammad Anwar bin Rahmat
- Ismail bin Johari
KAED Constituency
- Siti Mahfuzah binti Mardy
- Mohammad Zarif bin Mohd Zahari
Engineering Constituency
- Muhammad Syarifuddin bin Mohamed Sofian
- Tuan Noor Amyrah binti Tuan Mustaffa
IRKÂ Constituency
- Fatin Nabielah binti Saifuddin
- Mohammad Fikri bin Mohammad Nawawi
As usual, a total of 23 seats are contested in the SRC Election which include 5 seats for  the International students that represent the respective kulliyyah.
Polling Day has been set on 17 September 2015, and students have been asked to cast their votes wisely to choose a leader who will represent their interests and bring them benefits during campus life.***
