COVID-19 update: 1,141 new cases with zero death

GOMBAK, 4 December 2020: Malaysia today recorded 1,144 new COVID-19 cases including three imported cases making a total of 10,799 active cases, and zero death.

According to the Ministry of Health, 129 COVID-19 patients were admitted to Intensive Care Unit (ICU) with 53 patients in need of ventilators.

The Ministry also shared that eight new clusters were identified today, namely Cluster Tapak Bina Muda, Cluster Tapak Bina Galeri, Cluster Bukit Dalam, Cluster Cempaka, Cluster Sungai Cincin, Cluster Huma, Cluster jalan Genting, Cluster Antabara.

However, it was announced that Cluster Bandaran, Cluster Kolong, Cluster Ramai-Ramai and Cluster Sentral ended today.

New recovery cases have increased to 81.4% bringing the total recovery cases to 59,061.

Perlis recorded one case while Selangor and Sabah remained with the highest cases with 320 new cases each.

Members of the public have been reminded to always practise physical distancing, follow the standard operating procedures (SOP) and avoid 3Cs (Crowded places, Confined Places, Close Conversation) to break the chain of transmission of the virus. ***
