GOMBAK: IIUM community is fortunate to have Mufti Ismail Menk delivering the Friday khutbah (sermon) at the IIUM Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah (SHAS) Mosque this Friday, 11 July 2014.
Born in Zimbabwe, Mufti Ismail ibn Musa Menk is a famous Muslim scholar who was tutored by his father who is also a well known scholar and da’ie. He memorised the whole Qur’an at an early age. He has a degree in Shariah from the University of Madinah and specialised in Iftaa at Darul Uloom Kantharia in Gujarat.
He is a broad minded motivational speaker who has won the hearts of many. He is constantly invited on lecture tours to various countries such as Malaysia, Hong Kong, South Africa, Sri Lanka and many more.
All are welcome to attend the khutbah this Friday.
