GOMBAK, 3 October 2019 – A total of 24 volunteers from IIUM UNESCO Club intend to raise RM29,000, an amount they are still lacking to finance their outreach educational and welfare mission to Chhnang Village, Cambodia, in their initiative to assist the underprivileged community there.

Hence, they are calling on the IIUM community to help them raise funds for the mission.

Those who are interested to contribute may do so by making their donations to the account number stated below. Donations in terms of stationery kits and clothes are also welcomed.

The mission aims to expose to the Cambodians their language skills, especially Bahasa Melayu, and to reach out to the underprivileged Cambodian kids and community of Kg Chhnang Province, in terms of education and welfare.

All volunteers will depart from IIUM on 25 October and are expected to come back to Malaysia on 3 November this year.

Donations can be made to 7625242559 CIMB (MUHAMMAD FAUZI BIN MOHD NOOR).
