GOMBAK, 13 November 2018: A Ted Talk inspired series, AIR Project, appealing to “Evoke Awe and Wonder” will be held on Wednesday (14 November) where the stage will be presented with inspirational, scientific minded, and passionate speakers from all walks of life.

Held at Experimental Hall, International Islamic University Malaysia from 8.00 pm to 10.45 pm, this event is a platform to inspire the students to see their potentials and generate ideas of the youth.

Its programme manager, Najmi Syahiran Mamat, told IIUMToday that this is a remotely unique event as the four speakers will be presenting four stand-alone topics only for 20 minutes.

“It is a known fact that humans have limited attention span and the ideal time for an audience to be engaged in and to listen to a speech comfortably is approximately twenty minutes,” he said.

Bakhtiar Baharin will be there performing with his flute to spice things up.

The programme is an evaluation exercise for students from Event Management Skill 2 course supported by the Centre for International Islamic Culture (CiTRA) and IIUMToday as the official media partner.

Najmi advised those seeking for further inquiries on the event to contact the person in charge at 0122901344 (Haikal) and the attendance can be confirmed through this link ( https://goo.gl/forms/eZJ OKc9yS2UAqRHv2).***
