GOMBAK, 4 October 2016: Fifty students from Rangsit University, Thailand paid a visit to the Department of Communication, IIUM, early this morning to study the facilities and to learn about the academic environment in this university.

The students were received by IIUM.fm advisor, Dr. Harmi Taazim Mohamad and IIUMToday’s managing editor, Wafa Awla and the editorial team.

Soi Hsi Ri, 21, an International Relations student, said she was impressed with the facilities available for the students at the Department of Communication to gain necessary experience and exposure in the field.

“After coming here, I would like to have the same facilities in my campus too – an online news portal and radio studio for the students.”

This is the second day of their three-day educational visit to Malaysia, which included a visit to IIUM and Kuala Lumpur City Centre. They will be visiting Malacca before returning to Pathum Thani, Thailand.
