Asean ending haze hazard together

THANKFULLY, Indonesia is now on board to work with Asean nations to end the annual haze hazard that, especially this year, has over the recent weeks gotten from bad to worse. After more than a decade of dragging its feet, Indonesia has ratified the Asean Agreement on Transboundary Haze Pollution. With that, all 10 Asean member nations are on the same page ready to fight the problem and censure those responsible as harshly as the law of the country will permit. Already 10 firms are being probed over forest fires in Sumatra and Kalimantan that, in Sarawak, is causing haze with Air Pollutant Index (API) at unhealthy levels. Samarahan was the worst affected yesterday with an API reading of 174, followed by Sri Aman at 155 and Kuching at 150.
