THE recent fracas at Plaza Low Yat is a lesson learnt on the dangers of misinformation. What was a simple case of theft has turned into a racial issue. It is sad that there are irresponsible Malaysians who do not hold dear our cherished multiracial harmonious Malaysia, a country we call home. We must be wary and cautious of whatever news or information that goes viral on social media. We must be mindful and take necessary action to verify the information with the authorities.
