BUILDINGS and the way we keep our city are the way we showcase our existence. A city, a country, a community can tell much about the disposition of its people, if hubris reigns or calmness and moderation rule. Or if the population or the people who administer over our daily lives are overawed by the power of money and take it not as a means of making our lives more pleasant, but more miserable. Throw money into the open and you can have myriad towering blocks, car parks and a jumble of mind-numbing, head-splitting cacophony.
