IT is a fact that smoking can kill. But people continue to smoke anyway, even with the gory pictures on cigarette boxes. Prices of cigarettes have gone up many times in the last decade, but it is not an effective way to keep people from lighting up. Even rigorous campaigns against contraband cigarettes, which are said to be more dangerous than legal ones, cannot stop smugglers from bringing in stock. But a few years back, e-cigarettes came into the picture, supposedly to œcure those addicted to conventional cigarettes. The trend became more popular at the beginning of this year, and now, it has become a norm to see, on social media, youngsters inhaling vapour.
