The numbers show that more than 1.6 million Chinese (actual figure: 1,613,355) and more than 770,000 (actual figure: 770,108) Indian tourists came to Malaysia last year. It is little wonder that China and India are among the top five tourism markets for Malaysia. The Chinese and Indians are the type of visitors Malaysia wants ” big spenders who boost the Malaysian economy.
