THE comment by the inspector-general of police in the report, œIGP: Genuine whistle-blowers welcomed, protected (NST, July 26), and the arrest of Swiss national Xavier Andre Justo and others have brought into the limelight a œnew law that has been almost forgotten: Whistleblower Protection Act 2010 (WBPA) as a œnew law providing for WB protection (WBP) in Malaysia. Its enforcement shares a similar enforcement platform highlighted by the X Personal Data Protection Act 2010.
