When I read William Peseks latest commentary on Bloomberg View, I barely recognised the country he was writing about. He starts by referring to Malaysias œunderlying economic distress and œprolonged slow growth, which he says are caused by œrace-based policies that strangle innovation, feed cronyism and repel multinational companies.
