KUALA LUMPUR: The benchmark FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) remained in the negative territory mid-afternoon with the main index 1.43 per cent easier dampened by losses in index-linked heavyweights. At 3.15pm, the benchmark FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) was 24.86 points lower at 1,711.76. Of heavyweights, Maybank slipped 29 sen to RM8.71, Tenaga erased four sen to RM13.80 and Public Bank declined 22 sen to RM17.60.
