It’s mission accomplished for BMW 2014

GOMBAK, 21 December 2014: Bilal Mahabbah Week 2014, an annual event organised by the Mahallah Representative Committee of Bilal (MRC Bilal), ended this morning with the closing ceremony officiated by the Principal of Mahallah Bilal Ibn Rabah, Dr. Khaizuran Abdullah, held at Sg. Pisang, Gombak.

Of the main event,  was ˜Sundate Picnic BMW 14 where all committee members gathered at Sg. Pisang to appreciate their hard work and commitment as well as to celebrate the success of this programme.

A total of 30 members from the Committee showed up this morning to enliven the programme with the convoy from Mahallah Bilal which began at 9.00 a.m.

With the theme of œThe Legacy of Brotherhood, they managed to achieve their main purpose of creating a great team work within the organisation and in achieving their mission to foster unity among residents throughout the courses.

This programme started with participants joining water games conducted by Programme Coordinator, Nur Amir as others began to prepare for BBQ lunch at the riverside.

The days schedule was continued by the closing speech from Dr. Khaizuran Abdullah. In his remarks he said that this event has successfully developed a sense of brotherhood among the community and he was grateful that all courses had gone well. Alhamdulillah.

He also acknowledged the presence of a big number of students joining the BMW 2014 throughout the week as a proof of success of this event which had achieved its main goal.

The President of MRC Bilal, Afifi Deen also delivered his speech.

He began his speech with the quote from Quranic verse: œThe believers are but brothers, so make settlement between your brothers. And fear Allah that you may receive mercy. He referred to the main theme of the event.

Afifi Deen told the audience he believed that each participant has a good character of leadership and hoped that their skills would improve day by day as they were looking for potential MRC Bilal for the next tenure.

The Programme Manager of BMW 2014, Mohamad Nor Syamil, expressed his appreciation on the committees commitments and their hard work despite the crucial time they are currently facing as the final examination was about to begin.

The event ended with the prize giving ceremony for the ˜Best Committees which was performed by Dr. Khairuzan Abdullah accompanied by the Programme Manager, Mohamad Nor Syamil and the President of MRC Bilal, Afifi Deen.

For the games award, as expected, the second group led by Syazwan Hashim was victorious after defeating the third group led by Afifi Deeen as first runner-up, followed by the fourth and first group. All groups received hampers and another lunch. ***
