ALIZA SHAHnews@nst.com.myKUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak was delighted by the performance shown by the Harimau Malaya team despite their loss to Thailand in the AFF Suzuki Cup final. Najib who was present at the stadium during the match tweeted about how proud he was and hoped that the team would perform better in the future. œI am proud with the Harimau Malayas performance, œGod willing, we will do better in the future, he tweeted.He also congratulated the Ultras Malaya fan club for their continuous support to the Malaysian team. "I want to congratulate the Ultras Malaya which has been giving their endless support to the Harimau Malaya team," he tweeted. Malaysia were eight minutes away from becoming champions after taking a 3-0 lead before Charyl Chappuis and Chanathip Songkrisan each scored a goal giving Thailand a 4-3 aggregate win.
