KUALA LUMPUR: The benchmark FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) extended earlier gains to close the morning session slightly higher today, boosted by buying in selected blue chips and key heavyweights. At mid-day, the FBM KLCI settled at 1,828.12, up 18.99 points after hovering between 1,829.11 and 1,809.63 in trading.
