Firms to invest US$2.1b in Ecuador oil projects

ECUADOR, Organisation of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (Opec) smallest-producing member, signed contracts with companies including Halliburton Co and Schlumberger Ltd for a combined US$2.12 billion (RM6.88 billion) investment to boost the nations crude output and reserves.
