KUALA LUMPUR: Petron Malaysia Refining & Marketing Bhd posted a nine per cent rise in revenues with sales of RM5.99 billion for the first half, up from RM5.5 billion sales over the same period in 2013, on stronger fuel demand. Total sales volume for the first six months improved to 14.96 million barrels from 14.65 million barrels last year. Domestic sales surged by 12 per cent to 9.81 million barrels from last years 8.76 million barrels, Petron Malaysia said yesterday. The strong sales enabled the group to trim its losses to RM8.23 million in the first half of 2014 from RM12.94 million last year.
