GOMBAK, 16 March 2015: The Da’wah and Tarbiyyah Secretariat, Law Student Society (LAWSOC), has recently organised a programme called the Da’wah & Tarbiyyah Launching Night with the theme “Respect the differences, spread the goodness”.<\/p>\n

As a Muslim, dakwah<\/em> is our responsibility. All of us are ambassadors of Islam and that’s why we need to portray a good personality to maintain a good image of Islam.<\/p>\n

There were two panelists for this forum, Sham Kamikaze, the famous guitarist and Dr. Yazid Zul, a lecturer from the Ahmad Ibrahim Kulliyyah of Laws (AIKOL).<\/p>\n

“When we know the purpose of dakwah<\/em> we did not care about what others think about us but we should only focus on getting the redha<\/em> from Allah,” \u00c2\u00a0Sham Kamikaze said.<\/p>\n

“We need to make Rasulullah our role model, because he did dakwah<\/em> not only by his words but also showed his actions in his daily life,” he added.<\/p>\n

There are many types of dakwah<\/em> that we can use nowadays such as street dakwah<\/em>, \u00c2\u00a0on video and even our posting on Facebook. That is why we need to produce things that can give benefits to the society as a whole.<\/p>\n

“Today there are many ways to do dakwah, however we cannot use the wrong way to do it even we have a good intention to do the good thing because in Islam the end did not justify the means,”Dr. Yazid Zul said.<\/p>\n

He said, “We can use a variety of methods in doing dakwah<\/em> as long as it is in line with shariah<\/em>.”<\/p>\n

The programme was held with the objective to introduce dakwah<\/em> and tarbiyyah<\/em> to all students of the Kulliyyah, according to Raihana Nadhira Rafidi, who was the deputy executive council member for Da’wah and Tarbiyyah Secretariat, LAWSOC.***<\/p>\n\n
