{"id":61090,"date":"2015-03-12T12:00:29","date_gmt":"2015-03-12T04:00:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/news.iium.edu.my\/?p=61090"},"modified":"2015-03-11T08:08:21","modified_gmt":"2015-03-11T00:08:21","slug":"circle-of-daie-encourages-tarbiyah-among-students","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/news.iium.edu.my\/?p=61090","title":{"rendered":"&#8220;Circle Of Daie&#8221; encourages Tarbiyah among students"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em><strong>By Yasmin Abdul Rahim<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">GOMBAK, 6 March 2015: Persatuan Belia Islam Nasional (PEMBINA-IIUM Chapter) has organised a talk called Circle of Daie at IIUM recently to uphold the importance of <em>tarbiyyah<\/em> in students&#8217; daily lives.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">There were two panels invited to the talk which is Ustaz Adnin Roslan, the blogger of Tarbiah Sentap and Co-Chairperson Spiritual and Islamisation, SRC IIUM, Syafiq Aizat.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u0153This programme is to create awareness of the significance of <em>tarbiyyah<\/em>. When our students spend their time studying, they tend to forget the actual needs for them in their life which is the fruitfulness of Islamic knowledge and <em>tarbiyyah<\/em> itself. They just focus only on study,\u009d said Vice President 2 PEMBINA-IIUM Chapter, Siti Nabiha binti Md. Marham.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">She further added: \u0153The theme of the programme which is \u02dcrevival of the Ummah shows the importance of <em>dakwah<\/em> and <em>tarbiyyah <\/em>in building our young generation, hence, keep them ready for the success of Islam and do everything for the sake of Islam.\u009d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">As a Muslim, we need <em>tarbiyyah<\/em> or to be educated in order to be a good person. There is no such thing like<em> tarbiyyah<\/em> that can change a person to a better life and realising our objective as being part of this worldly life. <em>Tarbiyyah<\/em> builds up ones potential to highest level and capacity with guidance of <em>iman<\/em> and preferences to this religion.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">One of the panelists, Ustaz Adnin Roslan said that <em>dawah<\/em> is not just for the non-Muslims, but also for Muslims as well. As Muslims, we still need and always to be educated about religious field in order to strengthen our <em>iman<\/em> to the highest level.
