{"id":59133,"date":"2015-02-24T21:19:42","date_gmt":"2015-02-24T13:19:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/news.iium.edu.my\/?p=59133"},"modified":"2015-02-24T23:34:12","modified_gmt":"2015-02-24T15:34:12","slug":"ptptn-loans-will-be-credited-today","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/news.iium.edu.my\/?p=59133","title":{"rendered":"Students to get their PTPTN loans credited by today"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em><strong>By Siti Nur Atiqah Ismail<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>GOMBAK, 24 February 2015: The <em>Perbadanan Tabung Pendidikan Tinggi Nasional<\/em> (PTPTN) has confirmed that the loans will be credited to the students account by today and the process is expected to drag until 3 March.<\/p>\n<p>According to PTPTN&#8217;s Finance Department, there are two categories of students whose PTPTN loans would be extended by the end of March; those who have to re-check result status and those sitting for their special examination.<\/p>\n<p>\u0153Furthermore, the tuition fees would not be deducted automatically from the credited loan but payment must be undertaken by the students,\u009d said Hafizudin Yahya of Academic and Intellectual Secretariat, Student Representative Council (SRC).<\/p>\n<p>He has advised the students to spend the PTPTN loan wisely especially for purpose of paying their tuition fees.<\/p>\n<p>\u0153For those who still have not received their PTPTN loan even after 3 March, they may refer to IIUM&#8217;s Finance Division (Level 1, Rectory Building).
