Centre for International Islamic Culture (Ci<\/em>TRA) will be organising Ci<\/em>TRA Open Day on 10th and 11th\u00c2\u00a0<\/span>February.<\/p>\n

Ci<\/em>TRA is a new department and the open day is organised to promote the clubs that are under their supervision. 14 clubs are waiting for you guys on the open day, they are, 10 musical clubs, one art performing club and three international filming clubs.<\/p>\n

Ci<\/em>TRA Open Day will be highly related\u00c2\u00a0to the culture of the Malays and at the same time, the performances will be in line with the Syariah compliance. The theme for this open day is “Virtue”. Why? This is because as a Muslim and also as a Malay, we have to practice\u00c2\u00a0good virtues, without it, we are nothing. The entertainment that will be presented on that day, the audiences will not only enjoy the art\u00c2\u00a0of Malay culture, but at the same time, understanding Islam through the entertaining da’wah performances. This is because nowadays, music and arts are rarely associated\u00c2\u00a0with Islamic practices and teaching, they Ci<\/em>TRA\u00c2\u00a0is taking entertainment to a new\u00c2\u00a0level. As one of department under IIUM, Ci<\/em>TRA is trying to incorporate both entertainments and Islam into one entity so that we can enjoy and at the same time know more about Islam. This day is open to all, not just for local students, but also for international students.<\/p>\n

On the 10\u00c2\u00a0<\/span>and 11\u00c2\u00a0<\/span>February, they will open up booths at Foyer 1, Cultural and Arts Centre (CAC). From 10 am to 6.30 pm, students can feast the eye by looking at things that will be exhibited on each different booths.<\/p>\n

If you are still on second thought to join which club.\u00c2\u00a0On the night 11\u00c2\u00a0<\/span>of February, in the Main Hall of CAC, \u00c2\u00a0\u0153Cultural Night\u009d will be held, where each club will\u00c2\u00a0demonstrate and introduce themselves to the audiences. This is a good opportunity for art fanatics to join Ci<\/em>TRA because at the same time the clubs\u00c2\u00a0are recruiting for new members.<\/p>\n
