Pre-tax profit for the year ended September 30 climbed to \u00c2\u00a3581 million (RM2.9 billion) from \u00c2\u00a3478 million a year earlier, Luton, England-based EasyJet said yesterday. That beat the \u00c2\u00a3578.8 million average estimate of analysts. Under chief executive officer Carolyn McCall, EasyJet has ramped up presence at key airports and targeted business travellers with add-ons like allocated seats, flexible tickets and security fast-tracking.
