{"id":38132,"date":"2014-11-12T09:00:40","date_gmt":"2014-11-12T01:00:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/news.iium.edu.my\/?p=38132"},"modified":"2014-11-13T01:28:54","modified_gmt":"2014-11-12T17:28:54","slug":"cyber-crime-seminar-to-create-awareness-among-university-students","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/news.iium.edu.my\/?p=38132","title":{"rendered":"Cyber crime seminar to create awareness among university students"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"color: #222222;\"><em><strong>By Amirul Hafiz<\/strong><\/em><\/div>\n<div style=\"color: #222222;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"color: #222222;\">KUANTAN, 1 November 2014: Peers Club of International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) has recently held a one-day seminar on cyber crime awareness at its campus here in Pahang.<\/div>\n<div style=\"color: #222222;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"color: #222222;\">This seminar was participated by 135 students from four institutions of higher learning; Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP), Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Islamic College of Sultan Ahmad Shah (KIPSAS) and IIUM.<\/div>\n<div style=\"color: #222222;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"color: #222222;\">\u2039Programme&#8217;s chair person, Nazali Mokhtar, said that the purpose of the seminar was to expose and create awareness among the students on cyber crime.
