The Hollywood Reporter quoted an unidentified source with knowledge of the deal as saying an acquisition would value California-based DreamWorks at US$3.4 billion. That would value DreamWorks at US$32 per share. DreamWorks has produced 29 animated feature films, including hits like \u0153Shrek\u009d.
