The action \u201d which could become Australias biggest consumer suit \u201d was filed against Westpac, Citibank, St George, BankSA and ANZ in the New South Wales Supreme Court. The open class proceedings mean that \u0153all customers who have ever been charged a late fee, not just those that signed up to the original class actions\u009d, could benefit if the suit is successful, Maurice Blackburn law firm said.
