SEREMBAN, 18 April 2026: The Kulliyyah of Sustainable Tourism and Contemporary Languages Students Society (CASTELLAN) embarked on a meaningful initiative by organising a two-day Benchmarking Camp with the ‘Majlis Perwakilan Pelajar<\/em>‘ (MPP) of Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM), held at the meeting hall of the Faculty of Leadership and Management building, USIM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The meeting aimed to facilitate the exchange of insights and explore effective management practices adopted by both societies, and to generate ideas for planning more impactful programmes. CASTELLAN’s decision to engage with the MPP USIM was driven by its recognition of MPP USIM’s significant leadership role within an Islamic university, as well as its strong and active presence on social media as an organisation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Program Manager for the Benchmarking Camp, NorAizam Aikal expressed his gratitude for both CASTELLAN and MPP USIM for their trust in him to organise such an important meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I feel honoured to have the opportunity to organise the Benchmarking Camp with one of the best MPPs in the country. It was a solid and meaningful session where we made the most of our time at USIM through sharing, bonding and exchanging ideas with MPP USIM to ensure that our objectives were successfully achieved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I would like to express my sincere appreciation to MPP USIM for their warm hospitality and also to the Mainboard of CASTELLAN for their passion and willingness to learn in striving towards becoming a better organisation,” he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The President of the CASTELLAN, Aman Faiz, further explained that the decision to select Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia was based on the similarity in academic focus between the kulliyyah in KSTCL and faculties at USIM, especially in the fields of language, management and tourism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“As the President, I am truly honored and hopeful that this program will bring a significant impact to the CASTELLAN 25\/26 mainboard. Through the exchange of ideas and discussions on key challenges between two Islamic university campuses, I am confident that this initiative will lead to meaningful shura-based decisions that shape both the mindset and leadership character of our mainboard members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I also hope that future programs under CASTELLAN will not merely focus on names or divisions, but will emphasise long-term impact on students. We must be bold in elevating our programs from the kulliyyah or university level to the national and even international stage,” he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This collaboration between CASTELLAN and MPP USIM highlights the importance of students’ involvement in expanding strategic partnerships and creating more beneficial programs for the students through collaboration with various parties.***<\/p>\n\n\n\n
