GOMBAK, 27 Dicember 2025: The Malam Pentas Larasuka Grand Concert, organised in conjunction with Citra Open Day 2025, successfully brought culture and music to the main focus in a vibrant night celebration. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event was held on Wednesday, 24 December, from 8.00 pm to 11.00 pm at the Main Hall, ICC. The attendees were IIUM students and members of the public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through music and stage performances, the concert sought to revive legendary sounds while uniting people through the universal language of art. It reflected the idea of preserving cultural heritage while presenting it in a contemporary and engaging way for the audience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cStanding on stage and feeling the energy from the audience, we realised that it was never just about the performance. It was about the journey, the growth, and the people who stood by us through it all,\u201d shared Sharifah Natasya, a member of Andeka Caklempong, reflecting on her experience performing at the concert. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

She emphasised the importance of teamwork and support from others, showing that the journey of performing involved not just the performers themselves but everyone who helped and encouraged them along the way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From the audience\u2019s perspective, the concert left a strong impression. One of the audience members, Siti Khadijah Sa’adon, described the event as both enjoyable and meaningful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I was really happy and enjoyed because all the performances allowed us to truly enjoy and connect with cultural expressions,” she said. She explained that each performance, from traditional dances to musical presentations, showcased unique aspects of culture, making the event not only entertaining but also educational.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Malam Pentas Larasuka Grand Concert stood as a meaningful cultural gathering that reinforced the importance of preserving arts and traditions in a contemporary setting. As part of Citra Open Day 2025, the concert contributed to strengthening community bonds while showing the variety and beauty of cultural performances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It also highlighted the need to continue organising such events so that cultural heritage can be preserved and appreciated by future generations.***<\/p>\n\n\n
